Simris Alg issues new stock for 27 MSEK

Simris Alg has raised 26.5 million Swedish Kronor in this fall’s rights issue, rendering it able to fully finance the expansion of its algae farm. We are particularly delighted to announce that animal’s rights organization Djurens Rätt has stepped in as one of our new major partners. Our products enable a wider audience to consume plant-based, superior quality EPA and DHA omega-3, which leads to a decrease in demand for fish oil.

An extra shareholders meeting has also taken place this fall. During the meeting, it was decided that Simris Alg will change corporate form to Public Limited, in preparation for a planned company listing at NASDAQ First North during spring 2016. After the newly received capital injection, timing is ideal for preparations towards a listing to commence.
